PLATO TO LIVE AGAIN IN FIRST OF LECTURE SERIES

FOUR MORE TALKS IN "FIVE GREAT AUTHORS" SERIES FOLLOW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Professor Charles B. Gulick '90, Professor of Greek in the University since 1909, will speak on "Plato" this afternoon at 4.30 in Emerson D. The lecture will be open only to members of the University and of Radcliffe College.

This lecture is the first of a series to be given on five great authors. The others will follow on successive Wednesday afternoons until March 12. Professor C. H. Moore '89 will deal with Horace, Professor G. L. Kittredge '82 with Shakespeare, Professor C. H. C. Wright '91 with Moliere, and Professor J. D. M. Ford '94 with Cervantes.

The series is planned primarily for students concentrating in ancient and modern literatures. They are intended to furnish some guide and suggestion for the private study of such men. They are to be in no sense, however, a mere compilation of bibliographical suggestions.
