ACTIVE TENNIS WORK ON SCHEDULE AFTER TONIGHT

Pfaffmann and Cowles Will Address 7 O'clock Meeting in Holworthy 2--Ten Men to Practice at Longwood

Captain K. S. Pfaffmann will officially open the 1924 tennis season this evening at 7 o'clock with a meeting in Holworthy 2 for all men who intend to play tennis in the spring.

The meeting will mark the beginning of active indoor practice, as a squad of ten men will play daily on the Longwood covered courts at Chestnut Hill.

Both Freshmen and University candidates will be present tonight. Captain Pfaffmann, in outlining the plans for the season, will probably detail the test matches which will be played, and Coach Harry L. Cowles will explain the general rules for training. Due to the fact that the season is unusually short this year, there will be an effort to whip the squad into shape as quickly as possible.

The following have been chosen to practice at Longwood: L. H. Bondi '25, Alden Briggs '25, Parke Cummings '25, W. P. Dixon '25, Carroll Harrington '24, K. S. Pfaffmann '24, Donald Stralem '24, and E. M. Upjohn '25.
