DISMEMBERED SQUASH TEAM LOSES

Freshmen Also Defeated in Final Round of Class B Tournament

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A very much dismembered squash team lost its meet with B. A. A., 4-1, in the final round of the Class B inter-club tournament last Saturday. J. D. Du Bois '24, the only regular on the combination won his match with C. O. Wellington, 15-7, 14-15, 10-15, 15-7, 15-9. The setback, however, does not affect the University's standing in the league, the championship title having been sowed up as a result of the Lincoln's Inn meet a week ago.

The summary:

J. D. DuBois '24 defeated C. O. Wellington, 15-7, 14-15, 10-15, 15-7, 15-9; J. J. Kerrigan defeated P. R. Pease '26, 16-16, 15-10, 16-14, 14-15, 18-16; J. J. Dyer defeated J. M. Roots '25, 18-13, 15-4, 16-8, W. M. Bullivant defeated G. M. Laimbeer '26, 12-15, 15-10, 9-15, 15-12, 15-10, H. C. Johnson defeated L. A. Welsman '26, 15-3, 13-15, 15-8, 16-13.

The Milton Club kept the Freshmen from advancing in the league standing by winning their meet, 3-2. The 1927 team is now tied for the bottom place with the Newton Centre Squash Tennis Club.
