The squash racquets season will open today, when Team A of the University meets the Tennis and Racquet Club of Boston, Team B encounters the Boston Athletic Association, and the Freshman players come up against the Milton Club. The first two matches will be played on the University courts and the third on the Freshman courts. All three teams are entered in the Massachusetts Squash Racquets League. Team A plays in Class A of the League, Team B in Class B, and the Freshmen in Class C.
Dixon Shows Good Form
The squash players have been practicing for several weeks and are in excellent form for the early season games. The team promises to be the equal of last year's championship aggregation. Captain Dixon has been playing fine squash all fall and has given Coach Cowles, who is generally recognized as the best squash racquets player in Massachusetts, several very close matches.
Last year Captain Dixon won the Massachusetts championship and represented this district in the national tournament. Today he is scheduled to oppose C. C. Peabody, who plays number one on the Tennis and Racquet Club team. Peabody was state champion two years ago. Dixon defeated him last year in the finals of the State tournament. Their rivalry will be renewed this afternoon. The match will begin at 3.30.

Glessner Heads Team B
Glessner, who played number five on Team A last year and was undefeated in the league season, heads Team B this year. Einley, a semi-finalist, and Len- hart, the dark-horse finalist of the fall tournament, play two and three respectively.

The Freshman matches with the Milton Club will be as follows:
