The University Register, the "Who's Who" of Harvard, will be ready for distribution before Christmas vacation, at the most conservative estimate, it was announced yesterday by H. A. Wiener '20, the editor-in-chief. The latter contracted to publish the Register for the Student Council on a percentage basis last September, when the board of undergraduate editors resigned.
The appearance of the volume had been announced for the latter part of November but its increased contents and its improved directory checked the speed of publication. It is now, however, all printed and at the binder's.
Shows University From the Air
The book is bound in red leather, in much the same manner as last year's edition. The frontispiece consists of a very unusual airplane view of the University, taken by the Army Service last summer. Clubs and organizations have been arranged in alphabetical order, instead of dividing them into classifications, as last year. In addition to a directory of college addresses the home addresses of all men have also been included. There are 30 more pages than last year.
Since the edition is strictly limited, men who desire copies should subscribe in advance. The price is $2.50 per copy, delivered. Checks or money orders may be sent by mail or delivered in person to the Crimson Building at 14 Plympton Street, in care of the Register.
