Mayor Edward W. Quinn of Cambridge spoke on "Politics as a Career for the College Graduate of Catholic Faith" at the second meeting of the St. Paul's Catholic Club of Harvard last night. Mayor Quinn, "as a practical man", expressed great admiration for Professor Munro's course in government. He cited the building of Cambridge's water altration plant as an example of cooperation between the University and the city government.
"As for the political career," Mayor Quinn said. "If you were all my boys, I would say. 'Don't go into politics. Go to college and then into business.'"
