The Christmas vacation will start this year on Saturday, December 20, and will close on Monday, January 5. Classes will be held on both these dates. The vacation is four days longer this year than in previous years as a result of a decision made by the Faculty at a meeting in November.
Men living at a great distance from Cambridge will be allowed travelling time to enable them to get home by noon on Tuesday, December 23.
