DEBATING TRIALS TOMORROW

Subject Will Be Proposed Child Labor Amendment to Constitution

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Trials for the second triangular debates in the Eastern Intercollegiate Debating League will be held at 7 o'clock tomorrow at Harvard 6. The University teams will face Williams at Williamstown, and Wesleyan at Cambridge January 17.

Candidates will prepare five-minute speeches on either side of the question: "Resolved, That this house favors the immediate adoption of the Child Labor Amendment." All undergraduates are eligible. Tomorrow at 5 o'clock the Debating Council will meet in Weld 43 to discuss future international debates. This year the University was unable to meet the Oxford team that toured the United States, because it was impossible to arrange a date satisfactory to both teams. It is possible, however, that international debates will become an annual affair if satisfactory arrangements can be made.
