The annual Christmas Carol services will be held in Appleton Chapel next week on December 17 and 18.
The Reverend Edward Caldwell Moore, Plummer Professor of Christian Morals and Chairman of the Board of Preachers, will conduct the services. The choir of Appleton Chapel, assisted by the Choral Society of Radcliffe College, will sing a program of Christmas music under the direction of Professor A. T. Davison '06, Director of the University Glee Club.
There will be two services open to the general public: on Wednesday afternoon, December 17, at 4.30 o'clock, and on Thursday evening, December 18, at 8.15 o'clock. The service on Wednesday evening, December 17, at 8.15 o'clock, will be open only to persons connected with Harvard University and Radcliffe College.
All children of families connected with the University, if accompanied by an older person, are invited to be present at the afternoon service. Children of families who worship at the chapel have been requested to bring toys or gifts of any sort to the carol services. These gifts will be distributed by the nurses of the Cambridge Visiting Nurses' Home.
