Rabbi Zarchi Confronted Maria Ressa, Walked Off Stage Over Her Harvard Commencement Speech
A rejuvenated University soccer team, taking advantage of every break, captured its second straight victory Saturday afternoon when it defeated Cornell 3-1. The contest was the second league game of the season for the University eleven, which lost a 5-0 decision to Pennsylvania two weeks ago.
Trevvett put the Crimson in the lead in the first period when he took Crook's short pass from the right and drove the ball past the Cornell goal-guard.
Cornell evened the count at the start of the second half but Trevvett put Harvard ahead again, tallying his second goal on a pass from Dorman. Then Captain Pattison clinched the game with a brilliant individual dash.
The teamplay of Cornell's green eleven was ragged and its defense was poor MacKinnon's defensive play and Dorman's kicking stood out for the Crimson. Goals, Trevvett 2, Pattison, Bewditch Referee, P. Garrigan, Time, 45-minute halves.
