The Freshman soccer team defeated Worcester Academy yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field by the narrow margin of 2-1. The Worcester schoolboys put up a stiff fight throughout the game, and almost evened the score at the end of the first period, when they cased a goal which was ruled out because of illegal use of hands.

After the game, A. F. Parrott of New York City, left fullback and outstanding player on the 1928 team, was elected captain. He prepared at Flushing High School.
