Walter Hampden and Mrs Hampden will witness the performance of Ibsen's "Ghosts", which a group of actors from his "Cyrano de Bergerac" Company are to give this afternoon in Brattle Hall at 2.30 o'clock.
The proceeds of the performance will be given to Denison House, known as the "College Settlement" in Boston. As already announced the Harvard Dramatic Club is assisting in the production by furnishing the stage forces. H. D. Smith '25 will act as stage director and D. F. Robinson '26 will have charge of the properties.
In the company there are two actors who have at some time studied under Professor G. P. Baker '87 in his 47 Work snop course. The leading role of Mrs Alving is played by Miss Ruth Cherpenning, a 47 Workshop graduate. She plays the part of the Duenna in "Cyrano"
Workshop Student as Regina
The second feminine role of Regina is taken by Miss Edith Barrett also a former student of Professor Baker's. She is an understudy in "Cyrano"
The part of Pastor Mandes in Ghosts is taken by Mr. Marcel Hill, who is now ending his third season as a member of Mr. Hampden's theatrical company. He is a guardsman in "Cyrano"
