In accordance with a custom of many years standing the Phillips Brooks House Association will hold "open house" for all members of the University on the evening of Thanksgiving Day. Thursday, November 27. A short entertainment has been placed in charge of the arrangements. The members of the committee are C. H. Beale '27, chairman, R. C. Birge '27, and F. W. Green '28. It is intended to make the evening one of homelike hospitality.
The building will be opened at 6.30 o'clock in the evening on Thanksgiving day, and at 7.30 Miss Louise Alica Williams of Georgia will give a program entitled, "An Evening in Dixie", after which refreshments will be served.
The distribution of baskets to the poor people of Cambridge and vicinity will be carried out as usual this year under the auspices of the Phillips Brooks House Association. A number of men will be sent out in automobiles on Wednesday before Thanksgiving to distribute baskets containing food and other necessities.
