SCANT VOTE NECESSITATES EXTENSION IN ELECTIONS

Although the elections for officers of the Sophomore and Junior classes were scheduled to close on Saturday night, so few ballots have been received that a time extension has been ordered by the Student Council. According to Alden Briggs '25 both classes are still far below the 60 per cent quota necessary for election. As a result, postal ballots will still be received if mailed before 6 o'clock tonight.

At a meeting of the Student Council last night, two committees were appointed to count the votes of each class. The group of Sophomores who will count the Junior ballot are M. H. Clifford, R. T. Elood. Howard Slade, and J. F. Whitbeck. The Junior committee which will record the Sophomore vote consists of W. R. Chase, G. D. Debevoise, H. R. Jones, and W. T. Reid 3rd.
