1928 WILL MARCH EN MASSE TO SEE YALE FRESHMAN GAME

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At 1.30 o'clock this afternoon the class of 1928 will meet in the Smith Hall quadrangle and march in a group to Soldiers Field to watch the Freshman eleven play the Yale Freshmen in the closing game of the 1928 football season.

This plan of the Freshmen marching on masse to watch their team play is a new one in the history of the University, and was started by the Committee of the Student Council on Freshman Affairs.

Last night over 400 Freshmen were present to cheer the team at the mass meeting, in the Smith Halls Common Room. After the meeting a large number of tickets to the Freshman game were sold, and it is expected that over half the class will watch tomorrow's conflict.
