Eager to repeat last Saturday's victory, the University soccer team will take the field this afternoon in what will probably be one of the closest games this fall. Cornell is said to have a strong team, although by comparative scores the Crimson team will have a slight edge.
The Yale team, which defeated Cornell 3-2, beat Dartmouth 3-0, as Harvard did. Cornell beat Colgate 4-3, and was defeated by Syracuse 1-0.
Only Three Cornell Veterans
On the Ithaca team Captain Cook, Bowdish, Chestnut, and Baman have been starring in the past games. Only three on this year's team are letter men, but 10 of the men making the Cambridge trip will be back next year.
The Freshmen will play Worcester Academy this afternoon in what is expected to be a hard fought match. The Worcester team in the past has brought strong teams to Cambridge, and 1928 will probably find this to be the case this year.
