END OF WORLD MAY CANCEL MID-YEAR EXAMINATIONS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

If last year's midyear examination schedule is followed this year, it will be impossible to hold examinations in the following subjects: German A, French A, Music 3; Physics B. At least there will be no examinations if the prediction of Mr. C. F. Woertz of Rockland, Me., comes true.

Mr. Woertz, a preacher of the Seventh Day Adventist movement, predicted yesterday that the end of the world is to come on February 6, declaring that there are only 144,000 people in the United States who have reached a sufficient degree of perfection to be transported to Heaven when the great day comes.
