New Haven, October 8,--The Yale first eleven, playing straight football and using close formations, made two touchdowns against the seconds today. Falling made one touchdown on a line plunge, and Allen went around end for the other. Failing kicked both goals.

Bench ran the team at quarter, Hart replaced Hingham at end, and Joss was returned to tackle when Richards was slightly hurt. Kline, a second string halfback, twisted his knee, and with F. Potts, who has a bad ankle, will be out for a few days. Richards will be back tomorrow.
