J. D. Clarke Jr. '27 has recently given six polo ponies to the Military Science Department of the University to be used during the winter. These horses will be stabled and fed by the Department and will be returned to Clark in the spring.
These horses are all pure bred mounts, and added to the six horses which the department already has will make 12 ponies which are available for use by the polo team.
Clark lives at 32 Hereford Street, Boston, and has played a great deal of polo at the Dedham Polo and Country Club. For some time he was a member of the club team and played throughout a large part of the summer.
