PI ETA COMMITTEE TO MAKE PLANS FOR SHOW

This evening the Graduate Committee of the Pi Eta Club will meet to decide the plans for this year's show. Although there is nothing definite as yet, it is expected that the show will be similar to last year's combination of mystery and burlesque.

The competition among the members for the play has brought in three manuscripts, one by Bradley Fiske '26, one by J. S. Murphy '25, and one by C. H. Morgan '24, who wrote last year's book in collaboration with R. D. Gerould '24.

Scott Wrote Last Year's Hit

Music has been submitted by both H. E. Scott '22, and J. M. Bruce '24, but none has as yet been selected by Dr. A. T. Davison '05, the musical director. Scott is the author of last year's hit, "Old-Fashioned Girl," called by the Pi Eta reviewer the best song in any Harvard show since the war. J. W. D. Seymour '17, will judge the manuscripts. The regular coach has not as yet been announced.

The show will probably be given during the first two weeks of January. Rehearsals will not begin until November 1. This late date is made necessary by the fact that many of next January's chorus girls are now on the football and crosscountry squads. Trials for parts will start as soon as the play has been chosen.

O. R. Rice '25, is the general manager of this year's production, and Alden Briggs '25, and A. D. Phillips '26 are assistant managers. C. E. Baldwin '26, is in charge of the publicity, E. A. Sawin '25, of the advertising, N. D. W. Allen '25, of ticket sales, Ross Wilkins 3ES, and B. S. Wood '25, of lighting and electrical effects, and A. R. Weed '25 of the secretarial work. L. L. Robb '25 is Business Manager.

Several of the members of the cast of "Dr. Hyde and Mr. Seek," are back in college, notably E. A. Sawin '25, who took one of the leading roles, that of Mr. Joseph Ivanovitch Seokenin. J. C. Greeley '25, E. S. Washburn '25, R. M. Parker '26, and J. S. Murphy '25 are other principals who may appear for a second time.
