New Haven, Conn., October 27, 1924.

The Yale University team started preparations for the Army game without Captain Love joy and Bench, the quarterback. They were both in street clothes at practice due to muscle bruises which developed this morning. It is expected, however, that both will be back on the field tomorrow or Wednesday. In the meantime Burt took center and Bunnell quarterback.

Failing, who has been out with bronchitis, is back on the squad. Scott, who was at first thought to be out of the game for the rest of the season because of an injured shoulder received Saturday, was at the field and followed the scrimmage since an X-ray reverted no serious injury.
