VOTER DECRIES ABSENCE OF DRY CANDIDATES ON BALLOT

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Several interesting sidelights on the CRIMSON poll appeared as the votes were being counted last evening.

At a late hour a telegram came from New York from one of the more prominent members of the Board of Overseers, evidently a good Republican, which read: "I wish to vote for Coolidge. Include my vote in the CRIMSON poll."

One very dry member of the College refused to vote for any of the four candidates listed on the ballot and scored the CRIMSON bitterly for not including the name of the prohibitionist candidate.

A survey of the ballots of the well-known members of the Law School faculty shows that their vote was well split up between Coolidge and Davis, the former having a slight lead. The La Follette vote was very meagre.

The vote from the members of the University who have their offices in University Hall showed almost unanimous endorsement of Coolidge.
