UNIVERSITY CHEMISTS TO HOLD FIRST MEETING TODAY

M. I. T. Professor Will Address Opening Session of Chemical Club

The Boylston Chemical Club will hold its first meeting of the present school year in Boylston 9 today at 7.30 o'clock.

After a short business session during which the plans of the club for the year will be discussed. W. H. McAdams, Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, will speak on the subject of "The Cracking of Petroleums". The lecture will be illustrated by lantern slides. Refreshments will be served after the meeting in Boylston 7.

The Boylston Chemical Club is primarily a club for advanced students in chemistry among the undergraduates, but graduate students who are interested will be welcomed. Meetings will be held throughout the winter months and topics from the various fields of chemistry will be discussed and explained by experts or specialists in each field.
