The Yale-Dartmouth game next Saturday will be one of the most bitterly fought in the country judging by the enthusiasm now being shown in betting circles.
The Boston Herald reports that Yale is favored 10-7 by W. P. Norton, a Dartmouth graduate. Mr. Norton has placed these odds on Yale, probably to take away any over-confidence on the Dartmouth team. The Boston Evening Transcript reports that most of the betting is at even odds, although word has come from Hanover that the odds among Dartmouth backers are 10-8 on Dartmouth. Betting on the Syracuse-Boston College match is 10-9 on Syracuse according to the Herald.
