Dr. W. T. Bovie G. '13, professor of biophysics at the Medical School, acting in conjunction with President C. C. Little '10 of the University of Maine, demonstrated yesterday at the University of Maine laboratories that ultraviolet rays obtained by the use of a fused quartz mercury vapor arc lamp are beneficial to health.
