The Dramatic Club will hold its first meeting of the present season in the faculty room of the Union next Tuesday evening at 7.30.
Professor John Tucker Murray '99 will speak of the theory of drama and acting; J. W. D. Seymour '17 will address the meeting briefly, giving a short outline of the work of the club. Eduardo Sanchez '26, president of the Dramatic Club, will preside. The meeting will be the formal inauguration of the present season, and competitions in the various departments will begin.
Candidates for the acting, scenery, publicity, business and art departments will report at this meeting. No competition is being held this year in the electrical department.
The name of the play to be given this season will be announced at the meeting, and it will be read the following night for the benefit of the candidates. Trials for the Acting department will be held on Thursday night, but all candidates are expected to report on Tuesday.
