The University soccer team will meet Amherst in the opening game of the season this afternoon at 3 o'clock on Soldiers Field.
Coach White believes that his team is the strongest the Crimson has had in several years. There are three regulars back: J. J. Sullivan Jr. '25, all-American soccer fullback two years ago, Captain W. T. Pattison '25, a veteran of two years, and G. D. Dorman '25, Besides these men there are four regulars from last year's Freshman team, R. H. Thomas, J. A. MacKinnon, Hiram Gans, and W. E. Trevvett.
