Seven Harvard men were named on the official rank list of the United States Lawn Tennis Association. Of these, two are undergraduates. W. W. Ingraham '25 was placed fourth in the New England Ranking of men's singles and Karl Pfaffman '24, captain of the University tennis team, holds tenth place on the list.
In the men's singles of the National ranking R. Norris Williams 2nd '16 is placed third, the only Harvard man among the first ten. Watson M. Washburn '15 and Nathaniel W. Niles '09 rank 15 and 19 respectively.
Besides the two undergraduates on the New England rank list, Nathaniel W. Niles '09 heads the men's singles, Borace Taylor '07 is eighth, and Henry Guild '17 ranks next.
