GLESSNER ELIMINATED IN STATE SQUASH TOURNEY

C. C. Peabody present Holder of the Massachusetts state squash championship title, yesterday defeated J. J. Glessner '25, No. 5 man on the University team, 15-3, 15-7, 15-9, in this year's state tournament.

The match was a walk-away from the beginning. Glessner could not compete with the masterful strokes of his opponent, and Peabody had excellent control over his shots, placing them, accurately and with judgement. Glessner made his best attack in the third game which he led for a short time, but was unable to hold his place.

H. N. Rawlins '27 won his match from A. R. Holt of the Newton Centre Squash and Tennis Club, 11-15, 15-4, 15-9, 15-7, and as a result he will be matched with W. P. Dixon '25 this afternoon. The contest will take place at 4 o'clock on court 14. Rawlins is captain of the Freshman squash team and has lost but one match this season in Class B of the interclub tournament. Dixon is captain of the University team.

The match between Channing Wakefield 3L and G. D. Debevoise '26 which was scheduled for yesterday afternoon has been postponed until tomorrow at 3 o'clock.
