The earliest picture of Harvard College known, one of the first six sowing machines ever made, an extremely rare engraving of the college buildings which was owned by Paul Revere;--these are a few of the items which were placed in the exhibition cases of the Treasure Room of the Library yesterday.

The Cambridge Historical Society has arranged the exhibit, which consists of objects of historical interest relating to Cambridge and Harvard, from among the possessions of both the Society and the Library. Many of the items are being shown for the first time, the occasion being the annual meeting of the Society at the Library last night.
