A trip for the Freshman baseball team through Connecticut during the Easter recess is practically assured, it became known yesterday. The 1926 nine took such a trip last year, playing four games against Connecticut preparatory schools, and the same number of contests will probably be played this spring.
The plans are only tentative and have not yet come up before the Athletic Committee for approval. Little opposition is anticipated from that quarter, however, and action will doubtless be taken at the committee's next meeting, which has been postponed to Wednesday, February 13.
The baseball management has been in communication with the Connecticut schools for some time, and dates are pending with Loomis Institute, Hotchkiss, Choate, and Pomfret. The three first named were all included in the schedule of the 1926 team.
The schedule exclusive of the contemplated trip has been completed and approved by the Athletic Committee and announced as follows:
April 9.--High School of Commerce.
April 12.--Middlesex at Concord.
April 23.--Huntington.
April 26.--Dean Academy.
April 30.--Cushing Academy.
May 3.--Worcester Academy.
May 7.--Dartmouth 1927.
May 10.--Exeter at Exeter.
May 14.--Holy Cross 1927.
May 17.--Princeton 1927.
May 21.--Brown 1927.
May 24.--Andover at Andover.
May 30.--Yale 1927 at New Haven
