DU BOIS DEFEATS KELLOGG IN SQUASH PRELIMINARIES

J. D. DuBois '24 defeated F. S. Kellogg '06, 11-15, 15-10, 15-6, 16-14, yesterday afternoon in the preliminaries of the Massachusetts state squash tournament, thereby creating another upset in squash circles.

DuBois is No. 1 man on Team B of the University squad and Kellogg holds the No. 3 position on Team A of the Harvard Club of Boston. The latter on Saturday lost to G. D. Debevoise '26 in an interclub meet but secured one game from the University player. Du Bois most recent achievement has been winning from H. N. Rawlins '27, the undefeated No. 1 man of the Freshman team, last week. He will be a close rival of W. B. Mcllwain 2L, for the championship title of Class B in the tournament which starts on February 11.

W. P. Dixon '25 won his preliminary match from W. F. Howe of the Union Boat Club, 15-3, 15-8, 15-13.
