The American-Scandinavian Foundation has offered a group of not more than 20 fellowships, worth $1000 apiece, to American students, preferably college graduates, for study in Scandinavian countries.

The requirements for eligibility are three-fold. Knowledge of a Scandinavian tongue is advisable, and necessary for those who propose to attend lecture courses.
