SENIORS RETURN 84 PERCENT OF VOCATION QUESTIONNAIRES

Mr. Paul S. Rede '15 Offers to Find Men Positions in Oil Fields

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coincident with the conferences yesterday of Mr. Paul S. Reed '15 on the oil fields industries under the auspices of the Committee on Vocations comes the announcement that of the questionnaires sent to Seniors 84 percent have already been returned.

Last year the final total of questionnaires received by the Committee was 88 percent, only 4 percent more than have been returned to date this year. With still some time to go before it is too late to hand them in, 491 have been received. It is entirely voluntary for men to answer the questionnaires, but the Committee, which has no connection with the college office, announces that it requests all men to return the blanks as soon as possible.

Yesterday, Mr. Paul S. Reed '15, Vice-President of the Harvard Club of Oklahoma, held conferences with a few men who were interested in the industries of the oil fields of Oklahoma. Mr. Reed was not here to offer men jobs but to talk with men who might want them later. He says, however, that he can find positions for Harvard men who go out to the oil fields.
