Ames Competition Progresses

The Second Year Law School men in the Ames Competition will argue the round before the semi-finals during the College mid-year examination period and immediately thereafter.

The Pound Club with four straight victorious decisions and 35 points to its credit is at present at the top of the list. The Ames-Gray Club with four closer decisions and a lower point score is second.

The eight clubs remaining in the competition will hold their trials in the following order: George Gray vs. Williston on February 5, with Professor Magruder heading the court; Laugdell-Marshall vs. Pound on February 6, with Professor Frankfurter in the judge's chair; on February 11, Ames-Gray vs. Scott, under Professor Chafee; and on February 14, Root vs. Thayer under Professor Beale.
