IN PRINCETON

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Tonight, the University hockey team plays its first game of the triangular series in Princeton. This will be the University's third appearance in the new Baker Memorial Rink, and having won one and lost one of the two previous engagements, the team has no reason to suspect the presence of a jinx in that arena.

The Princeton team, however, is quite strong enough to force the University to its utmost, without the assistance of any benevolent jinx. In spite of the unfortunate injury of Captain Stout, which incapacitates him for the rest of the season, the reorganized Tigers gave the powerful Yale sextette a hard battle last Saturday, and may be relied upon to perform tonight in the same fashion.

But more than hard fighting will be necessary to check the recent advance of the University team. Early season games with some of the best teams in the country may not yield a long string of victories, but they cannot fall to give a through seasoning and testing which will be evidenced during the rest of the winter.
