MAKE PLANS FOR NEW SOCCER LEAGUE AT NEW YORK MEETING

Only Two Games on 1924 Schedule to be in Cambridge

There is a possibility of the formation of a new soccer league to be allied with the present Intercollegiate Association Football League, according to a statement made last night by the University soccer manager.

When Lehigh and Pennsylvania State applied for admission to the league at its meeting on Saturday they were advised that the league was at present as large as was convenient, but suggested that three or four more colleges might be induced to form an allied league. The two leagues would then correspond to the American and National Leagues in baseball.

Only two games on the Harvard schedule of five will be played in Cambridge. The schedule is as follows: Pennsylvania at Philadelphia on October 18; Cornell at Cambridge on November 1; Princeton at Cambridge on November 8; Yale at New Haven on November 28 and Haverford at Haverford on November 29.
