PHI BETA KAPPA TUTORING BUREAU CHANGES ITS NAME

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Due to the misunderstanding caused by the old name, the Phi Beta Kappa Tutoring Bureau has been changed to the Phi Beta Kappa Service Bureau.

The former misnomer had led many Freshmen to ask for aid in cramming for examinations, which is not the purpose of the organization. The object is rather to assist men to learn how to do their work, and it is felt that the new name will convey this impression better than the old.

The chairman of the bureau, F. E. Bowman '24, assisted by H. T. Dunbar '25 and W. J. Fried '24, is arranging plans for working with Freshmen after mid-years.
