SPERRY TO BEGIN TALKS FOR FRESHMEN MONDAY

Divinity School Dean to Open Series of Weekly Gatherings at Which Many Prominent Speakers will Appear

Monday night talks for the class of 1927 will be resumed in the Smith Hall Common Room at 7 o'clock Monday night under the direction of the Phillips Brooks House.

The meeting on Monday will open with singing, led by R. P. Bullard '24. Dean Willard Learoyd Sperry of the Divinity School will speak briefly.

This series of meetings is similar to one given by Professor Albert Parker Fitch '00 and continued by various speakers since then. During the half year, Dean Sperry will introduce several noted speakers. Among them will be Dean Charles R. Brown of the Yale Divinity School and Reverend Professor Harry Emerson Fosdick of New York.

These Monday night meetings will be held every week during the first half year from 7 to 7.30 o'clock. They are under the direction of H. H. MacCubbin '26, chairman of the Committee on Student Bible Organizations for the Phillips Brooks House Association.
