President Lowell extended a welcome and made a few remarks concerning the founding and purpose of the Graduate School of Business Administration to the 500 men who gathered last night in the Living Room of the Union.
Before President Lowell took the floor. Dean Donham '98, explained some of the routine of the school and what is expected of each man. He emphasized the duty of every Harvard College graduate toward-making the new men from other colleges feel at home. He slipped in the remark that "work in the school is looked upon in the same light as a business obligation that an employer expects."
D. F. Cameron 2G.B. extended a general welcome to the men in behalf of the Business School Club, and explained some of the club's aims. As chairman for the evening, he introduced its other officers: R. V. Hopkins 2G. B., vice-president, and C. G. Brennerman 2G.B., secretary-treasurer. He also introduced the various committee chairmen and the members of the executive committee.
