RAY WORKS OUT ON STADIUM TRACK PREPARING FOR MEET

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Yesterday morning Joie Ray arrived in Cambridge, and in preparation for his race on Saturday worked out on the Stadium track during the afternoon.

After warming up by jogging two laps, the champion went through a half-mile trial which was clocked in 1 minute 58 3-5 seconds. Ray seems to be in excellent condition and should press to limit Kennedy of Yonkers, N. Y., and Watters of the Freshman squad, both of whom have 35-yard handicaps for the mile distance Saturday.
