BLUE OARSMEN HAVE TROUBLE WITH SWIVELS ON NEW SHELL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

New Haven, Conn., June 4.--The Yale University crew today had a light work-out in the new shell but was handicapped by trouble with the swivels. The Freshmen used the old University boat.

At the invitation of the management Lila Lee and Thomas Meighan watched the practice from the float at Boola. The Harkness yacht "Cytheria" has made arrangements for taking the crews for a trip on the sound on Sunday.

Three men were tried at stroke on the Junior eight, Goes, Freeman, and Richards, setting the pace.
