RAY AND EASTMAN TO TRY FOR NEW RECORDS TOMORROW

In an open handicap race tomorrow directly after the baseball game with Yale, Joie Ray will make his second attempt in the Stadium to break the world's record for the mile distance. At the same time Eastman will try to better the College mark in the shot put, which now stands at 46 feet 10 inches, and there will probably be several trial races for the University men who will go on the trip to England.

There will be no separate admission charge for persons attending the baseball game, but others will be obliged to pay the regular fee of $1.00 to gain admittance to the Stadium. Entries for the race will be received from A. A. U. registered athletes up to 6 o'clock tonight, but the H. A. A. reserves the right to reject, in case too many men apply, applications from those whose previous performances for the mile are not below 4 minutes 30 seconds.
