After putting his charges through another light practice yesterday, Coach Martin last night selected the 56 athletes who will represent the Crimson at New Haven Saturday. Only a half dozen track men will work-out this afternoon, the rest of the squad having been granted a rest. This evening the squad will dine together at the Essex County Country Club. There will be another light work-out tomorrow afternoon, after which the squad will leave for New Haven at 9 o'clock Friday morning. The night will be spent at Woodmont, Conn., about five miles from New Haven.
J. N. Watters '26, the Freshman long-distance star, defeated R. G. Allen '26 the 1926 captain, in the only time trial of the afternoon. Watters' time over the half-mile distance was 1.56 3-5, while Allen was timed in 1.57.
