Tigers Defeat Lawrenceville 8 to 1

PRINCETON, N. J., May 8.--The Princeton, baseball team defeated the Lawrenceville School nine today at Lawrenceville by the score of 8 to 1 in a onesided contest. Beebe, pitching for the Tigers, allowed the school boys seven hits. The Orange and Black second baseman, Cooper, was the individual star, registering two singles, a double, and a triple in four trips to the plate, and the team as a whole scored 15 hits, with only two errors. The Tigers will meet Brown University tomorrow at University Field.
