Tennis Team Faces M. I. T. in Opening Match of Week-End--Opponents Have One Victory, One Defeat, and One Tie

The University tennis team opens a strenuous week-end schedule of three successive days this afternoon, when it meets M. I. T. on the Divinity Courts at 4 o'clock. M. I. T. lost to Yale 6-0, has defeated Boston University, and Brown, and has tied Wesleyan. In the line-up that follows the M. I. T. order of men is only tentative, and may be changed this afternoon.

The matches to be played this afternoon are:

Singles, Ingraham (H) vs. Tremaine: Guild (H) vs. Russell: Briggs (H) vs. Tressel: Pfaffman (H) vs. McWane: Dixon (H) vs. Miller: Bondi (H) vs. Harris.

Doubles,--Duane and Ingraham vs. Tressell and Russell: Guild and Pfaffman vs. McWane and Tremaine: Briggs and Dixon vs. Miller and Harris.
