CRIMSON SOCCER TEAM FACES CHINESE STUDENTS' ELEVEN

Coach Welch's Team Has Defeated Northeaster: Lost to Clan Stewart

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In its third informal soccer game Coach Welch's eleven will oppose the Chinese Students' team on Soldiers Field at 4 o'clock this afternoon. The Crimson's line-up will be practically the same as in the two previous games that resulted in a victory and a defeat, the team defeating Northeastern University 1 to 0 and losing to the Clan Stewart football club last Saturday, 4 to 3. In these informal games Coach Welch is giving a great number of inexperienced men and members of last year's Frenchman team a chance to show their worth in actual contest.

The opposing eleven is composed of Chinese students at the University and at M. I. T. The team has been successful against several amateur soccer clubs of Greater Boston this spring.
