The second University baseball team will play its third contests of the season this afternoon at four o'clock on Soldiers Field, when it faces the strong Dean Academy nine. The seconds have been unsuccessful so far, losing their first game with Exeter, and breaking even with St. John's School last Friday, while they were further weakened when Herrmann was advanced to the regular team. Thomas, who played center field against St. John's and batted brilliantly throughout the game on the mound for the Crimson while his position in the field will be taken by Hurley.
