1926 TENNIS TEAM HANDS WORCESTER DECISIVE BEATING

Four Singles and Two Doubles Matches All Won in Straight Sets

The Freshmen had little difficulty in defeating Worcester Saturday afternoon on the Divinity Courts, the score being 6-0 in favor of the first-year men. The contest consisted of but four singles and two doubles matches, all of which were won in straight sets.

W. T. Smith '26 gave his opponent. John Norton of Worcester, but three games, while L. A. Weisman won two love sets from S. C. Ranger.

The results of the matchers played yesterday are as follows:

Singles.--Smith '26 defeated Norton, 6-1, 6-2; Perkins '26 defeated Dreytus, 6-2, 6-4; Debevoise '26 defeated Thomas, 6-4, 6-1; Weisman '26 defeated Ranger, 6-0, 6-0.

Doubles.--Smith and Debevoise defeated Norman and Ranger, '6-2, 6-2; Perkins and Weisman defeated Thomas and Dreytus, 6-4, 6-4.
