Yale Defeats West Virginia 5-1

NEW HAVEN, CONN., May 3.--The Yale baseball team defeated West Virginia here today by the score of 5 to 1 in a cleanly played game. Neale, Yale's left fielder, knocked out two triples that were largely responsible for the Blue's victory. Ross held his opponents to four scattered hits. The batteries were, for Yale, Ross and Mallory, for West Virginia, Evans, Woods, and Hawley.
